Who is Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone for ?
This combination of drugs is used to relieve
moderate to moderately severe pain. Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone is sometimes
prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more
information. |
|
|
|
How does it work ?
Hydrocodone with APAP (acetaminophen) is a
combination pain medication that contains a simple analgesic (acetaminophen)
and a narcotic (hydrocodone). Acetaminophen works by suppressing the
body’s production of certain chemicals that cause pain. Hydrocodone
raises your pain threshold and blunts your brain’s perception of
pain. |
