Who is Acetaminophen and Oxycodone for ?
This combination of drugs is used to relieve
moderate to moderately severe pain. Acetaminophen and Oxycodone is sometimes
prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more
information. |
|
|
|
How does it work ?
This combination pain medication contains a
simple analgesic (acetaminophen) and a narcotic (oxycodone).
Acetaminophen works by suppressing your body’s production of certain
chemicals that cause pain. Oxycodone raises your pain threshold and
blunts your brain’s perception of pain. |
