ACNE PROGNOSIS |
Acne is not curable, although long-term
control is achieved in up to 60% of patients treated with
isotretinoin. It can be controlled by proper treatment, with
improvement taking two or more months. Acne tends to reappear when
treatment stops, but spontaneously improves over time. Inflammatory
acne may leave scars that require further treatment. |
